Her work has driven ROI-positive demand gen, customer and sales growth and profitability for small companies ready to scale and take their business to the next level or entertain a profitable exit. Prior to joining Chief Outsiders, she grew Adobe’s global consumer software business to over $100 million and was part of the global go-to-market team that launched Creative Cloud.
Having worked with Fortune 500 companies to startups, Apy’s marketing leadership adapts to the size and scale of the company she serves. Recently, her expertise enabled a small, rapidly scaling software platform company to obtain clarity on which go to market strategies would be most effective prior to hiring the perfect CMO to execute on the roadmap that Apy developed. Apy earned a BA in Cognitive Science and Computer Science from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island and an MBA in Marketing, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship from Stanford University in Stanford, California. She continues to mentor students and support entrepreneurship groups at both alma maters.
Apy has been a guest lecturer for the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley and University of Hawaii’s marketing and entrepreneurship courses. She has also served as coach, mentor and growth marketing resource for accelerator communities such as Hawaii’s Blue Startups and Purple Maia’s Found Her program for women entrepreneurs, the Canadian Women’s Network and the Women Founders Network in Los Angeles, and Germinate Hawaii, the state’s first agriculture & aquaculture technology accelerator.
