SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Mar. 19, 2025 – Jim Plewa, a senior sales executive with a track record of growing revenue and profitability through execution and sales process optimization, will now apply his extensive healthcare, medical device, imaging, and healthcare technology industry expertise to take client sales to the next level as a Fractional CSO for Chief Outsiders. Recently, Plewa joined Chief Outsiders’ team of more than 120 Fractional Chief Sales Officers (CSOs) and Fractional Chief Marketing Officers (CMOs).

He also achieved double-digit pre-tax earnings growth while driving divisional strategy in the Western US for a Fortune 15 diversified healthcare technology firm.
Plewa is the former Chief Sales Officer of Performance Health, a privately held vertically integrated manufacturer/distributor with a global leadership position in rehabilitation, recovery and sports medicine. He also served as CEO/Executive Director of Pacific Brain & Spine, an independent neurosurgical group practice, and SVP Global Sales & Customer Care for NDS Surgical Imaging, a $110 million medical device company.
Other sales leadership roles filled by Plewa include Chief Executive Officer/Board Director, Sanarus Technologies, Inc., Chief Commercial Officer, Dataphysics Research, Inc., and SVP of Allegiance Healthcare/Cardinal Health where he led a business unit responsible for nearly $1 billion in revenue with over 1,000 employees.
To support his successful sales leadership career, Plewa earned a B.S. in Accountancy from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, in Champaign, Illinois.
