Experienced SaaS and private equity sales executive joins Chief Outsiders to develop new growth strategies and revenue models for clients that increase company valuation
SACRAMENTO, CA – July 13, 2023 – David MacIntosh, a senior sales executive in B2B SaaS environments across a variety of industries, will now apply his extensive private equity and industry knowledge to take client sales to the next level as a Fractional CSO for Chief Outsiders. Recently, Macintosh joined Chief Outsiders’ team of more than 120 Fractional Chief Sales Officers (CSOs) and Fractional Chief Marketing Officers (CMOs).

MacIntosh now applies his 25 years’ experience in revenue strategy, execution, and management combined with operator experience in private equity portfolio companies to expand revenue and value growth at client companies. He excels in B2B SaaS environments across a variety of industries developing new growth strategies, go-to-market structures and revenue models while focusing on execution to drive rapid growth.
SaaS and PE Sales Leadership
At Chief Outsiders, MacIntosh works with the CEOs of early-stage and mid-market companies and private equity leadership to accelerate sales growth. For example, prior to joining Chief Outsiders, he increased ARR 1,025% and generated more than $135 million in corporate value for a real estate information and media company by developing data monetization and commercialization strategies.
MacIntosh also rolled out a demand-based pricing strategy and an automatic renewal contract process that increased and solidified $10 million of ARR for a PE owned information and media company.
MacIntosh gained recent sales leadership experience as the Fractional CRO/Revenue Executive at Impactedge, EVP, Data Sales for Govexec, and Sr. Global Partnership Executive at the Health Information Management Systems Society. Previous roles include CEO at PT Genie, Chief Revenue Officer for Metrostudy, Inc., and Co-Founder at Bay Retail Enterprises.
To jumpstart his successful sales leadership career, MacIntosh earned a Bachelor of Science in Business/Entrepreneurship from The University of Southern California, in Los Angeles, California.
