SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Feb. 20, 2025 – Scott Ellis, a results-driven executive with 25 years of marketing leadership experience, will now drive client revenue growth as a Fractional CMO for Chief Outsiders. Recently, Ellis joined Chief Outsiders’ team of more than 120 Fractional Chief Marketing Officers (CMOs) and Fractional Chief Sales Officers (CSOs).

Ellis’s executive marketing experience includes roles as Global Vice President, Digital Marketing at SAP, Vice President, Head of Marketing for Loop Commerce, and Vice President, Head of Marketing & Merchandising at Man Crates. Prior roles include Vice President, Head of Marketing, for Peel Technologies, Inc. and Vice President, Head of Marketing & Product at JOBY, Inc.

To support his successful executive marketing career, Ellis earned a Master of Business Administration from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business in Palo Alto, California . He also completed a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Economics & Government from Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, California, studying abroad in Athens, Greece, and graduating magna cum laude while playing Varsity Baseball.
