Chief Outsiders’ Proven “Fractional Chief Marketing Officer” Concept Resonates with Vistage Members
Houston, Texas - June 13, 2011 - More than 100 chief executive officers and business owners from central Texas will be gathering at the Renaissance Austin Hotel in Austin, Texas on June 14th for Austin’s annual Vistage All-City Event.
Chief Outsiders is among the sponsors this year, giving all participants an opportunity to learn about the firm and the fractional Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) concept.
“We are finding great synergy between our firm and the entire Vistage community,” said Art Saxby, founder of Chief Outsiders. “The members are experienced business people who understand the need for strategic marketing. I personally always enjoy the depth of the conversations and the thought-provoking question from the group.”
Vistage members like, Larry R. Bloomquist, P.E., look forward to regularly attending the All-City event. As Chief Executive Officer of Mechanical Reps, Inc. is the premier manufacturers' representative for HVAC products in Central and South Texas, Bloomquist not only finds opportunities to network with peers, but also appreciates the chance to learn about the various new services and business offerings presented by the sponsors.
According to Bloomquist: "Vistage is terrific at introducing its membership to high-potential trusted advisors. Chief Outsiders is a good example, because mid-market companies like mine are always looking for insights into best practices to drive growth, and challenges in marketing are among of the toughest we face as CEOs."
As one of the signature meetings for the Vistage Group, the All City event provides an opportunity to network and gain insight from expert speakers. The All City Austin will feature a presentation by Vistage speaker Noah Blumenthal. A best-selling author and renowned executive coach, Blumenthl’s distinguished client roster includes organizations like Goldman Sachs, Frito Lay, MTV Networks, and Columbia University. He is the founder of Leading Principles, an executive coaching company. His book, Be The Hero, appeared on the best-sellers lists of both The Wall Street Journal and Amazon.
"We're all about helping our CEO members grow and strengthen their businesses,” said Pat Mulligan, Chair, Vistage International – Austin. “This year, at our All City event, Vistage will continue to provide unparalleled access to new ideas and fresh thinking with a select group of trusted sponsors including Chief Outsiders. The Chief Outsider fractional CMO model and broad strategic experience is particularly relevant to our CEO members, who may not have a full-time marketing executive on staff.”
